Beauty Review:

GO BANANAS FOR THIS BEAUTY TREATMENT!

So the idea of smearing bananas all over your face doesn't appeal to many people, and is definitely not scheduled into the daily routine, yet it is such an amazing beauty secret which not many people know about and takes little effort.

Get a medium sized banana and cut half of it up and mash it into a bowl. Find a bowl which is suitable for the microwave and put it in on a medium heat for 2 minutes. Depending on the watts of your microwave, if still lumpy, get the back of a spoon and squash it down. Leave it to cool for a minute or so, then paste the banana all over your face, avoiding contact with the eyes. I would recommend tieing your hair up and washing your hands before touching your face. Leave it on for around 10-15 minutes. The longer you leave it the harder it is to get it off. Rinse off with luke warm water and a flannel.

Despite the smell being quite unpleasant, it left my skin feeling refreshed and softened aswell as being a lot clearer.

Although the ingredients are written on the back of a face mask you would find in a supermarket you are totally unaware of how they could react with your skin. Bananas have a rich source of Potassium, Vitamin C, Folic Acid and Vitamin B6, they are also loaded with starch.  The more ripe the banana, the starchier the fruit and this moisturises the skin.  Bananas also contain a protein called Tryptophan, which is a mood elevator. So the skin is left feeling softened and refreshed.

So give it a go :)

Or why not try the Banana hair conditioner from Body Shop for only £4 or your own avocado face mask by following the banana step by step guide.

Collection 2000 Black Nailvarnish

Being a student I have very little money so I decided to buy the cheapest black nail varnish I could find. At £1.79 I thought I was in for a bargain and that it was going to be a great replacement of my Miss Sporty nail varnish which ran out. However, it didn't live up to its reputation of 'staying on for 5 days'. Additionally, it seems alot more diluted compared to other nail varnish's, meaning you have to put about three or four coats on before you achieve the block colour you want, and it began to get very messy. Overall, I think you have to spend a couple of quid more on a brand which can provide you with the neat finish you want such as Rimmel or No17.
Both my brother and I, feel the strain on our relationship with our parents. I don't think they realise how much it affects us and how much we remember. I felt proud of myself today, because it's usually me who's listening to my brother, but tonight I managed to bring my brother back round to his happy self and to come out for dinner with the family, instead of going back home alone. I love my brother SO much and will always be there for him :( <3

The one thing I can safely say I do every morning and have done for about 3 years now is checking the length of my hair. In secondary school I used to have long glossy hair and for some strange reason I decided I wanted a change. However, at that point I didn't realise that this simple change would still affect me now. I feel that hair is an important contributor to appearance, and it changes your whole face. Therefore, me not having the gorgeous hair I had/want gives me little confidence.
My hair is at a length where I can style and dye it, yet I want hair which goes down past my boobs ha to be precise. Long hair suits me due to having a roundish face, and the tragic photos of when I was 12 with short blond hair, still try to haunt me around the house.
I try to maintain my hair so it has all its natural oils in it, its strong and healthy and that I don't use hot irons on it daily. My hair is very thick so I know that it will take longer to grow and that I should just be patient, but truth is I have been patient for 3 years now, and I reckon my hair has got to its hair expectancy length.

Therefore I have decided to invest in deluxe 20 inch hair extensions. I shall post a photo once I have received them, excited to wear them out :)

This video is so simple yet, has the effect to make me laugh every time I watch it. The lyrics are relevant to everybody and it's just amazing ha.

New Year, New Accomadation...

So So SO excited to be moving into my uni house in the Summer :)

Recent photographs from around the world.

This 44ft whale unfortunately died after British Divers could not save it, after being washed up on Redcar Beach in Cleveland.

My first initial reaction of this photograph was that it had been edited. The placement of the sun had been moved and that the buildings and the taxi's had been put in a black and white effect. However, this is the image which was taken from the top of the 42nd street in New York/Manhattan of the sunset. Pretty amazing eh?

When I first saw this, I thought it was natural disaster with the roads breaking away. However, it is infact a lorry pictured in the Changchun bridge in China after an accident. The lorry was reportedly carrying steel pipes whilst crossing the bridge, and the bridge gave way due to the shere amount of weight the vehicle was holding. This resulted in the bridge collapsing and entering a shallow river below. Surprisingly, no one was killed and escaped with minor injuries.

It's not all devastation in China as this man is seen to be wearing a bees' suit. He breaks the Guinness book of records for the number of bees, aswell as the amount of time he kept them on for. He apparently sprayed coal oil on himself, to keep the bee's intact and to stop them from escaping.

This is my favourite picture as it's of a bald hedgehog. Hedgehogs are my favourite animals they're so cute :) Unfortunately, Betty the hedgehog was found in Norfolk and was taken to the rescue centre after being found bald and in a hedgerow.

I was amazed to find that this photo was broadcasted globally, as this event takes place in my home county. It happens every year and takes place at Coopers Hill, Gloucestershire, in the UK and is a cheese rolling competition. It takes place on a very steep hill and you throw yourself down the leathal hill to try and be the first to catch the very large sized cheese. Some will survive a few cuts and bruises, whilst others can come away with broken legs etc.  Typical British mayhem.

Glancing at my statistics on my blog I was curious to see who was visiting my pages. Initially, I just used the blog for my rants, however it's also useful for letting all your thoughts and feelings out on a page. I was very surprised and happy when I saw that many people had viewed from different countries such as USA, Australia, Brazil, Germany and many more.

If anyone is reading this from around the world, feel free to comment or follow me so I can take a look at your blog and keep you up to date with mine :)

Rihanna- California King Bed

Can't get enough of this song...
She looks absolutely stunning and it makes a nice change to have a soft ballad this time compared to her latest releases of S&M and Rude Boy.

So much love for Rihanna <3
