Jessie J Pricetag!

Admittley, I can say and can probably speak for the majority of people that everyone wishes they had unlimited amount of money.

Adding numerous amount of items to your basket online and constantly convincing yourself that a certain outift would look ten times better with a new pair of heels.

You look at celebrities in magazines who are wearing the new Versace dress or Louis Vuitton shoes, and thinking your spending how much on one clothing item?! How can you afford that when you've done what in the pass year?!

So it may bring them happiness for what...a few days, having a new, sleek, little black number hanging up; but the point is, money doesnt bring happiness forever. Usually the people who spend like theres no tomorrow are missing something within their life, and feel that money can resolve it.

I write this blog after hearing Jessie J's latest single Pricetag. The lyrcis state:

'Its not about the money, money money, we dont need your money money money, we just wanna make the world dance, forget about the price tag'.

Every time I hear Jessie J's latest song Pricetag it just reminds me that money isent everything. Ok, so I wish I could just buy my favourite perfume when the old one runs out, or fill up my university cupboard so that my lonely tin of baked beans have company; but you don't need a massive amount of money to have a good time.

When I do get paid or have birthday money, I do feel that I go a little crazy (usually in New Look), but then I come home and question do I even need this?! I tend to feel guilty but decide to keep it and then I'm back to square one again of looking at a filled wardrobe and draws with the answer to 'I have nothing to wear'.

There's so much influence that pressurises everyones opinion that you got to have money to have a good time, such as the 'Super Sweet 16' programme. Quite frankly I look at them and immediately think spoilt brat! Their presence and the way they demand everything and get everything, is no way to be. I'd much prefer to make mistakes in life with my budgeting so I learn, rather than feeding out of my parents hands.

Fortunately for me I do live in a nice area, in a lovely house, a car to drive and a family who is hard-working, but I never take it for granted. My family have bought me up to be cautious about my spending and that I don't need every latest gadget there is. Yeah occasionally they will be like treat yourself for the hardwork which I've done, but at the end of the day, although we need a little money to get by in life Happiness, Friends, Family and Love is what life is more about for me.
