Jessie J Pricetag!
Admittley, I can say and can probably speak for the majority of people that everyone wishes they had unlimited amount of money.
Adding numerous amount of items to your basket online and constantly convincing yourself that a certain outift would look ten times better with a new pair of heels.
You look at celebrities in magazines who are wearing the new Versace dress or Louis Vuitton shoes, and thinking your spending how much on one clothing item?! How can you afford that when you've done what in the pass year?!
So it may bring them happiness for what...a few days, having a new, sleek, little black number hanging up; but the point is, money doesnt bring happiness forever. Usually the people who spend like theres no tomorrow are missing something within their life, and feel that money can resolve it.
I write this blog after hearing Jessie J's latest single Pricetag. The lyrcis state:
'Its not about the money, money money, we dont need your money money money, we just wanna make the world dance, forget about the price tag'.
Every time I hear Jessie J's latest song Pricetag it just reminds me that money isent everything. Ok, so I wish I could just buy my favourite perfume when the old one runs out, or fill up my university cupboard so that my lonely tin of baked beans have company; but you don't need a massive amount of money to have a good time.
When I do get paid or have birthday money, I do feel that I go a little crazy (usually in New Look), but then I come home and question do I even need this?! I tend to feel guilty but decide to keep it and then I'm back to square one again of looking at a filled wardrobe and draws with the answer to 'I have nothing to wear'.
There's so much influence that pressurises everyones opinion that you got to have money to have a good time, such as the 'Super Sweet 16' programme. Quite frankly I look at them and immediately think spoilt brat! Their presence and the way they demand everything and get everything, is no way to be. I'd much prefer to make mistakes in life with my budgeting so I learn, rather than feeding out of my parents hands.
Fortunately for me I do live in a nice area, in a lovely house, a car to drive and a family who is hard-working, but I never take it for granted. My family have bought me up to be cautious about my spending and that I don't need every latest gadget there is. Yeah occasionally they will be like treat yourself for the hardwork which I've done, but at the end of the day, although we need a little money to get by in life Happiness, Friends, Family and Love is what life is more about for me.

Adele
Adele = wowzers.
Not only has she had number ones hits, an album which has stayed at the number one spot for almost nine weeks, but has also been nominated for many well deserved awards. People forget that she is only 22 years old and is keeping the British music industry alive.
What I find so passionate about Adele is that, she has such an unique voice and is a brilliant perfomer; whether it's in a recording studio or live. What you see is what you get with her. She is a natural beauty and doesn't follow the crowd, or shall I say celebs who are too focused on their appearance more than their actual singing career. The majority of people love her for who she is, a typical Londerner with a crazy personality.
She recently performed at the Brits 2011 and got the first ever standing ovation from the thousands of people who attended. Teary eyed on stage, she battled her way through her perfomance and described it as 'overwhelming'.
I love the emotion in which she sheds, compared to other celebrities. They tend to hide it behind the fake exterior.

As if it was yesterday...
It's bizarre how something which took place such a long time ago, can stay in your mind like it was yesterday. I guess thats because, if it touched your heart or opened your eyes up to reality then its always going to be in the back of your mind.

My Passion.
When asked to write a blog about something I'm passionate about, my first thought was my friends. Yes, I could of thought of something which was more 'deep' and required alot more thinking, but the fact is I wouldn't have learnt the things or have got this far without them.
I have an amazing bunch of friends at home and university. They all have different personalities; which you would think would clash, but they don't! It's great when your wanting advice or comforting, as they will all participate with THEIR OWN opinions and you start to look at things at different angles.
Throughout my secondary school years, you realise who your real friends are. I don't enter into arguments for the sake of everybody getting on. I know the world isn't all 'lovey dovey' and sugar-coated but I much prefer people to get on when possible. However, when I know that someone isn't worth my time for valid reasons then I will do everything I can to gradually lose contact with them. It may sound harsh but when you look back at people its transparent to you that they are no good.
I have some special friends at home, who I wish to stay in contact with. They have been there through the good times and the bad, and they are the people who know me the best! Some even more than my family. My best friends I have known for around 9 years are so special to me and they know how I think and my insecurities. You know you have a special bond with a person when they are so aware about the small things about you, and which you don't share with everyone.
However, saying that, by coming out of my comfort zone and living independently in the city of Southampton I have met many different characters. I find this such a good insight to see how people work and to know more about them just by watching them.
'As you grow older, you realise who is and isn't worth your time'.
'Don't make someone a priority when they only make you an option'.

'Don't make someone a priority when they only make you an option'.
